If you aren’t willing to give me 110% then keep your filthy hands off of my rock.
Frank Howard, Clemson Coach
Good morning y’all – NFL football is in the air this weekend and fall is officially back.
In case you missed it, college football arrived in full force last weekend and the NFL comes back on Sunday. Last weekend I travelled to my alma mater to watch my Clemson Tigers lose to the LSU Tigers alongside my brother. I was reminded that the best thing about sports is how these games are a rare shared experience with others in a world where those are hard to come by. Now of course, that sounds like a guy who’s team just got beat at home with questions about the offense, but I do believe it.
So embrace the fall season of Saturdays and/or Sundays in front of the TV. Buy a skillet, invite some friends over, cook up some awesome Gameday Queso, and complain about the refs. But do it together, and enjoy the rhythm of a new start.
Wishing your team luck this year. Let’s get supper on the table.
