She’d trade Colorado if he’d take her with him
Closes the door before the winter lets the cold in
And wonders if her love is strong enough to make him stay
She’s answered by the tail lights shining through the window paneZac Brown Band, “Colder Weather”
Good morning y’all, it’s been a busy few weeks since my last post. As Ferris Bueller said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you just might miss it.”
Seems like October came and went and as fast as Clemson’s playoff chances this year. Just yesterday it was the end of summertime, we were making Gameday Skillet Queso for the tailgate parties, and hope was in the air. Now I’m wearing an overcoat every day, excited for Daylight Savings time to have ended, and watching everyone else’s team in prime time.
Alas we march on through the thick of fall and enjoy some great food along the way. Create a Jambalaya masterpiece this weekend as the weather starts to turn. Full of hearty sausage, shrimp, rice, and the holy trinity, this meal is a great option to feed a whole lot of people and show off your newfound kills.
So embrace Commandment #1 – Challenge Yourself, and enjoy a staple of cast iron cooking this fall. Let’s get supper on the table.
