I take my coffee black and Jack + Coke over anything on the right evening.
My dad taught me good music sounds a lot like Dave Matthews Band. Personally, I think Eric Church gives them a run for their money.

Stopped in Atlanta for a taste of the big city. Got married while I was there and then went to Rocket City, Alabama for some of that famous white sauce barbecue.

My hope here is to celebrate home cooking by providing cast iron cookware based recipes. Whether a quick meal for Tuesday night, a family dinner on Sunday, or showing off for friends on Saturday afternoon, preparing good food gives a center of gravity around your kitchen table. Well prepared food is a universal language, it can cut across awkwardness or unfamiliarity. It keeps you healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Cast iron cookware has been my pathway to preparing good meals with regularity, and I hope to bring others into the fold.

Y’all be good. Let’s get supper on the table.
