What are your feelings about eating meat?

Personally, I have no quandaries about eating meat but respect everyone’s ability to choose their own food. My passions are more against ultra processed foods, either meat or vegetables. I think there is something inherently incorrect about removing an entire meal from a box wrapped in plastic, cooking it via radiation for 3-5 minutes, then calling it good for you? Not only, there is such a noticeable drop in quality from frozen to fresh foods it should make everyone take a pause and consider better options.

Truly great food combines all elements, from the mains to the sides to the seasonings. I prefer meat to be in the minority of my daily food intake, but believe it specifically elevates dinner when a good meat is on the table. When it all blends together in a combined dish, some might say that’s damn near a work of art, which is why having a good cast iron skillet is necessary to upgrade your kitchen skills

I’m interested in what others have to say on the matter. Comment below or send me an email at castironsoul803@gmail.com to get a conversation going.

When a meat is on sale, I’ll buy some and then freeze it in “food saver” bags (air is evacuated). The meat is then used as a component in a dish. I won’t use frozen meat if that meat is going to be the main, part of the meal.
